Looking for tennis lessons??

Your in the right place!!

Hi, my name is Patrick Woody!!

Growing up, my life revolved around baseball and football. Everything changed during my freshman year of high school when I met an incredible tennis coach who was looking for more boys to join the varsity team. I decided to give tennis a chance, and that one decision completely changed my life.

As a freshman at Ola High School, I earned a spot on the varsity team playing Doubles No. 2. After that season, I committed myself to improving by taking private lessons, training year-round, competing in USTA leagues, and playing UTR matches. The guidance I received from my coaches not only helped me become a stronger player but also shaped me into a more confident and disciplined person.

Over those next three years, I continued to grow as a player, competing at the varsity level all four years. I played Singles No. 1 as a sophomore, Singles No. 2 as a junior, and returned to Singles No. 1 for my senior season. During my time at Ola High School, our team reached the state playoffs twice, and outside of school, I competed in USTA Junior Championships, where my team advanced to the Southern Championships and finished among the top teams in the region.

Looking back, I truly wish I had discovered tennis earlier because it has become one of the greatest passions in my life. The impact my coaches had on me is the reason I chose to become a coach myself.

My goal is simple: to create a positive environment where every player feels supported, comfortable, and confident. Whether you’re picking up a racket for the very first time or looking to take your game to the next level, I’m here to help you build strong fundamentals, understand the game, develop confidence, and reach your goals. Nothing is more rewarding than watching my students improve, enjoy the sport, and succeed both on and off the court.
